It’s no news to anyone but Portland has some pretty cool record labels. However, on my recent trip to PDX EGGY records really caught my eye. I ended up getting two tapes released by EGGY, Sad Horse “Untitled” and PAK “Box”. The Sad Horse tape had a hand done watercolor for the insert and both tapes had a very similar visual appeal. I loved how the EGGY tapes looked a ton. Either way, both of these tapes are great sonically as well and I encourage you to check them along with the rest of the EGGY stock.
Sad Horse is a art punk duo and PAK is more experimental sound collage type stuff, either way both great!
